A magical experience awaits one lucky family

Richmond Hill, ON, – Budgeting for your children’s future education, everyday living expenses and saving for a vacation can be challenging for many families.

On April 15, 2010, Global awarded a trip for a family of four to Walt Disney World in Florida. Compton Khan of Shanty Bay, Ontario has his winning ballot randomly drawn from entries across Canada.

“This is a great opportunity for the winning family to spend time together and build lasting memories,” says Margaret Singh, Director at Global Educational Trust Foundation, who drew the winning ballot at Richmond Hill, head office. The prize was courtesy of Global RESP Corporation.

This is a chance for Global to create a little magic for one family.”

Gone are the days when most parents could pay for their children’s college or university education out of pocket. Since 1990, average undergraduate tuition has increased 223% according to Statistics Canada.
Projections from the Government of Canada’s CanLearn website show that by the time children born today are ready to go to university, they will pay over $110,000 to cover four-years of tuition, books, accommodations, meals and other education-related expenses.
